Singapore Slingers bounced back from the opening loss and beat CLS Knights to draw things level in the Finals. Singapore Slingers forced 19 CLS Knights turnovers. American guard Xavier Alexander (198-88, college: S.Nazarene) scored 16 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import power forward John Fields (205-88, college: Tennessee) chipped in 15 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four Singapore Slingers players scored in double figures. American guard Doug Herring-Jr (191-87, college: Utica) responded with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and American-Nigerian power forward Maxie Esho (206-91, college: Massachusetts, agency: Two Points) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
