The Deadline is May 22nd and all applications must be entered by then for the
Up and coming Korean Basketball Draft Camp,
This is an invited-players-only pre-draft camp.
KBL will screen all the application documents at the beginning of
June and players that are invited for the pre-draft tryout will be informed in the middle of June.

| India: IOB lifts Golden Jubilee Nachimuthu Gounder Cup - May.16, 2008 |
Coimbatore, 15 May 2008:
Aided by international star Robinson, the Indian Overseas Bank (Chennai) made a thumping victory over Customs and Central Excise (Cochin) in an exciting finals of the 50th Nachimuthu Gounder Cup all-india basketball championships at the VOC Park Corporation Sports Complex here.
On Thursday evening, the bankers garnered 78 points as against 63 scored by the custom-house men.
In the semi-finals, IOB humbled Integral Coach Factory 103-84. Read more... |

| China: Earthquake in China - May.15, 2008 |
Hello all, this is the news nothing about the basketball in China. It's about the earthquake in China. It's sad because so many people died in China in the last 3 days! The earthquake happened on May 12th 2:28pm in Wen Chuan city which is close to Cheng Du city of Si Chuan province. 44 cities suffered from this earthquake. Military, airforce sent by China governmnet to secure the people there. Too many people died and injuried, homeless kids,etc. Read more... |

Action in the 19th FIBA Asia Champions Cup, which was deferred owing to the death of the former Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Saad Abdullah al-Sabah, will resume on Friday.
The Technical Committee of the Champions Cup, which met on Wednesday decided to hold the quarterfinals which were originally scheduled for Wednesday on Friday.

The Emirates Al Wasl extended their perfect run to 4 games beating Al Qadsia in the final round of preliminary action at the Asia Champions Cup in Kuwait. Al Wasl won all of their Pool B games and finished atop the ladder. The game turned into a real heated battle though the sides had nothing but pride to lose.
