It's been a while since the team from Bandung, West Java went to final. Seems like it's always been Aspac and Satria Muda in the finals since forever. As we all know both regular finalist teams are from the same city of Jakarta.
2008 finals gave us something different from league perspective. IBL showed to the Basketball enthusiasts in the country, which the league is running forward. Picture of boredom we did not see in this year finals.

No more all Jakarta's teams finals, no more Aspac - Satria Muda Britama nemesis games. No more blow-out games in the finals, like back in 2006 when SM Britama led ballooning to huge margin vs Aspac Putra Riau.
None of that happening this year. We are going somewhere. Started by SM Britama's Super Star Guard (Sumargo) going out and played this year for Garuda Bandung. Face of the competition's never been the same again. It's tougher now. Many more games that was a close game, spectators stayed until sound of the end buzz.
Buzzing is also rumors that stated many of star players from big four teams are moving to other club. Heart of this competition next year will beat faster and harder.
Everyone looking forward to come to IBL games. Not knowing who'll be the # 1 by the end of next season. Tell me who your favorite is , is it Muba Hangtuah ?!
