Philippines U18 - Yemen U18 97:48

Philippines finished the U18 Asia Championship in the fifth position. They shot down hosting Yemen on the final day of the tournament. Joshua Angelo Alolino (181-G-94) produced 18 points and 8 assists to lead the winners.
Philippines turned out to have more energy for the final game. They grabbed control right from the start. Yemen accounted for only 10 points in the first period allowing their opponents to clear off. Philippines posted a 22:10 advantage at the first break. Philippines opened the second term on a 10:2 run to boost the lead. They controlled the tempo and piled up a comfortable 47:26 halftime advantage. The visitors continued to dictate the rhythm in the third stanza. They fired 34 points to accumulate a massive 43-point lead heading into the final quarter. Yemen managed ten points in the fourth stanza and had to give up at the end.
Kiefer Isaac Ravena (181-G/F-93) and Raphael Banal (186-G-92) nailed 15 points each for Philippines. Cris Michael Tolomia (191-G-93) and Jeth Troy Rosario (200-C-92) had 10 points each in the victory. Sabri Sadaqah (188-F-93) notched 16 points for Yemen. Abdulaziz Moqbel (188-F-93) chipped in 9 points in defeat.

Eljaish Defeated Al-Tilal At The Arab Basketball Championship - 2 Years ago
Eljaish first basketball team achieved second victory respectively at the 28th Arab Basketball Championship which is hosted by Al-Shabab club in Dubai.Eljaish defeated Al-Tilal team from Yemen scoring 104-75. Ahli Sanaa and Tilal reach Cup Final - 3 Years ago
Ahli Sanaa and Tilal will play for the Yemeni Cup title. The Final is scheduled for September 30th. Ahli Sanaa outgunned 22 Mayo 65:51 in the semifinal clash. Ahli Sanaa built a 32:24 halftime lead. The margin grew at 10-point mark at the final intermission and never looked back en route to the victory. Tilal took care of Shaab IBB 70:57. Tilal jumped at 41:25 halftime advantage. Tilal, 22 Mayo, Shaab IBB and Ahli Sanaa advance into Cup semifinals - 3 Years ago
The Yemeni Cup semifinalists have been determined last week. Ahli Sanaa advanced into the Final Four stage after beating Shorta. Ahli dominated from start to finish claiming a well-deserved 58:38 victory. 22 Mayo fired past Shabab Kamran 49:26 to set up the clash with Ahli Sanaa in the semis.
