South Africa withdraws from 2011 Jones Cup - Aug 4, 2011

South Africa national team has withdrawn from the 2011 William Jones Cup tournament due to funding problems, the Chinese Taipei Basketball Association announced Thursday.

After the withdrawal, the entire tourney has been re-scheduled. A playoff round will be added after the eight-team single round robin preliminary round. The schedule is listed as follows:

Ying-Chou News 6/3/2016 Taipei, Taiwan: Cleveland Havok coach Kevin Franklin will succeed Sam Mitchell as head coach of Team USA Jones Cup Basketball after the 2016 Olympics, the team announced Friday.
