After winning 4 times the WABA U18 Junior Championship in 1998,2001, 2005 & 2006 Lebanon is crowned once again the 11th WABA U18 Champion after finishing the championship without any loss with 5-0 record .
Lebanons last game was against Syria, Lebanon managed to win the game on the score of 74-87

Lebanons last game was against Syria, Lebanon managed to win the game on the score of 74-87. The game was close in the first half but in the second half the Lebanese players imposed their game especially through their great teamwork and a big leadership for Karam Mechref, the teams captain. Karim Jadayel finished the best scorer in the game with 23 points. The Lebanese U18 National Team had many big runs in the game but the Syrians knew how to get back in the game due to the small experience of the players.
Jadayel received a big help from Karam Mechref with 18 pints , Naji Birak (14 points), Konstantin Koudsi (13 points ).
In other games Iran won its 4th game in the championship against Yemen on the score of 65-51. In a decisive game for the 3rd place Iraq managed to win against Jordan on the score of 66-70.

After few days from winning the Iranian Super League, Mahram were again WABA Champions... Jalaa were second, Zob Ahan thirs, Riyadi 4th, Hoops 5th and Dhouk 6... As a conclusion the 4 teams thats qualified to Asia are : Mahram, Jalaa, Riyadi and D'houk... The two Lebanese teams had a big battle to see who is the team that will play in Qatar in May

After few days from winning the Iranian Super League, Mahram were again WABA Champions... Jalaa were second, Zob Ahan thirs, Riyadi 4th, Hoops 5th and Dhouk 6... As a conclusion the 4 teams thats qualified to Asia are : Mahram, Jalaa, Riyadi and D'houk... The two Lebanese teams had a big battle to see who is the team that will play in Qatar in May... Hoops the new team in D1 made a very big performance ans was very close to qualify, but the lack of experience made them to end in the 5th place after two big games against Jalaa and Mahram where they lost in Overtime...

Mahram and Jalaa are undefeated teams after Day 4 of WABA. Both teams won all their games at the tournament. After the victory over Al Riyadi, Mahram added another two over Zob Ahan 87:70 and Hoops 120:70. Jalaa won over Al Riyadi 112:107 and overcame Zob Ahan 99:92. Zob Ahan is with 2-2 record beating Al Riyadi 100:73 and Hoops are tied at 1-1 after the victory over Duhok 99:69. Duhok and Al Riyadi remain with no victories.
