    Herbert Hill
Saigon Heat (VBA) agreed terms with 32-year old American forward Herbert Hill (208-84, college: Providence). He played last season at Sonic Boom KT in South Korean KBL league. In 5 games he had very impressive stats: 16.2ppg, 9.6rpg, 1.4apg and 1.2bpg this season. The last season Hill played at KCC Egis (also in KBL) where in 34 games he recorded 12.4ppg, 7.4rpg and 1.2bpg. He also played that season for ET Land Elephants (also in KBL). In 15 games he averaged remarkable 18.9ppg, 10.4rpg, 2.1apg and 2.1bpg. The other team Hill played that season for was Al Hilal (SBL) in Saudi Arabian league. In 15 games he got high stats: 18.9ppg, 10.4rpg and 2.1apg.
In 2007 he was drafted by Utah Jazz (NBA) in second round (55th overall). Hill attended Providence College and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball. His team won Korean KBL Regular Season.
Hill was selected to Korean KBL All-Star Game back in 2012.
He is quite experienced player. Hill's career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in eight different countries. Hill tasted the life as pro basketball player in Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally also in Bahrain (Al Muharraq), China (Jiang Xi), France, Lebanon (Champville and Amchit), Philippines (B.Ginebra), Puerto Rico (Caciques) and Venezuela (Gigantes).
On Hill: (by Matthew Maurer for NBADraft.net in 2007)
Shows good mobility, running the court with ease. Has worked hard to improve his touch around the basket. Possesses great hands, capable of catching most passes without fumbling or losing control of the ball. Solid rebounder who uses his long arms and hands to tip balls out of position to himself. Solid finisher where he wastes little time, keeps the ball high and goes right up.
This lack of strength can work against him when he faces physical forwards limiting his ability to get good position in the post. Can be stunted by double teams as he doesnt always read the defense quick enough to react

Heat Finish Strong, Nab First Victory Against Dragons On The Road - 4 months ago
Not even a tough shooting night from their leading scorer could stop the Saigon Heat from picking up a huge win in the ASEAN Basketball League season. In a game where prolific import Lenny Daniel (203-PF-87, college: CS Northridge) was held to only 11 points and in foul trouble, the Heat still had enough to overcome the Westports Malaysia Dragons, winning 95-84 on the road. Heritage Import Moses Morgan led the way for the Heat with 24 points on 3/6 from three point area. He also had seven...   [read more]
