Barsy Atyrau (D1) inked 27-year old Uzbekistani center Dmitry Sviridov (212-85). He has played for the last three years at Hopsi Polzela in Slovenian Telemach League. In 28 games last season he recorded 11.5ppg, 6.8rpg and 1.0bpg. A very good season in his career as he was voted to Slovenian League All-Star Game.
Sviridovs team won Belarusian Cup in 2009.
He has played also professionally in Belarus (Vitalyur-RGUOR and BK Grodno-93).

Sokhumi Tbilisi (Superleague) agreed terms with 25-year old Russian-Uzbekistani guard Ruslan Nazmiev (200-93kg-87, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov). Nazmiev moved there from Severstal in Russian Superleague where he supposed to play, but it seems he will not stay with that team after all. The last season he played for Ural Ekaterinburg (Superleague). He missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball.
Nazmiev has played also professionally in Russia (CSKA Moscow, Unics Kazan, Unics Kazan U23 and CSKA Moscow U23).
