Natalya Babusheva (178-G-79) and Yuliya Kiseleva (200-C-85)'s Chevakata solved the task with 61:56 home win over KK Hemofarm Vrsac in EuroCup. After 72:74 in Serbia Russian squad advanced with 133:130 victory. Anastasia Pimenova paced the winners with 16 points. In the first game KK Hemofarm Vrsac won the in the embryonic game over Chevakata 74:72 in the first leg of Eurocup. A 23;13 in the opening quarter was the result of the hard win. Dara Kovacevic paced the winners with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Biljana Stankovic netted 15, while Stojanka Ostojic added 13. Anastasia Pimenova was the best for the Russian squad with 18 points. Hemofarm Vrsac had taken an early lead in the first stanza. Kovacevic's jump shot brought 23:13 and did not predict another scenario for the hosts. But as the teams resumed the second quarter Chevakata replied with their weapon. Volkova with 3 minutes to play in the half gave the guests 29:30 lead. Bokareva kept the Russian advantage at 35:38, half time. Despite missing some baskets, Chevakata enjoyed 39:55 lead in the third quarter. What the Serbian team could do was to create a 6-0 run to reduce to 50:57 in the end of the third. Biljana Stankovic tied the game at 62 for both teams and then it was the game of nerves. Radocaj was glad to bring 74:72 win in the first leg for the Serbian team. Barsy Atyrau together with Anastasiya Sevastyanova (168-G-87) dropped to 0-7 record in Baltic League.In the first game Arvi smashed Barsy Atyrau 120:42 to take 9-0 record. Lithuanian team is one win behind the leader Tim-Scuf that is on top with 10-0. Ela Briedyte led the winners with 21 points. Andrea Bills netted 19, while Raugaite scored 16. Anastasiya Sevastyanova top-scored for the team from Kazakhstan with 9 points. In the game tonight LTU team won a good game against Barsy Atyrau 73:69. that was the game for the first win in BWBL and Lithuanian team grabbed it at home. Sigita Galdikaite paced the winners with 30 points. Autukaitė nailed 19, while Zintikaitė scored 14. Skorobagatova ended up with 22 points in defeat. Barsy Atyrau will have two more games with Lithuanian representatives in the next two days. Tomorrow the team will fave Laisve and on Monday Lemminkainen.

Irina Polunina entered her 4th season with Okzhetpes Kokshetay. She appeared there in 2009-2010 and became one of the leaders. In 2011-2012 for Okzhetpes Kokshetay (Kazakhstan-D1, starting five) Irina Polunina became the third top-scorer with 15.0ppg, 5.8rpg, Steals-3 (2.4spg).

Astana Tigers tipped off the new season with consecutive victories. They defeated Okzhetpes twice. The first game ended with the Tigers taking a 69:65 victory. Zaritskaya came up with 17 points for the hosts. Astana built a 13-point halftime lead and withheld all comeback efforts from the visitors in the second half. Uzbekistan managed to outscore the opponents in the final quarter but it had little impact on the final outcome. Xue Ying Lam posted 12 points and 14 rebounds for Malaysia. Pik Jin Lee added 10 points in the win. Dlyara Asanova answered with 15 points and 20 rebounds for Uzbekistan. Tatyana Komarova provided 10 points in defeat.
