Al Sharjah Club has agreed terms with the 48 years old Serbian coach Dejan Mijatovic to stay with the club as head coach of senior team for season 2017-2018, he arrived to Sharjah last week and he already started the preparations for upcoming season, coach Dejan succeed to got the 3rd position in the both main competitions the league and the cup last season with the club.
Season 2014-2015 he coached Ahli Bahrain club, Dejan reached the finalist of Bahraini league and semifinal of Bahraini Cup, beside his 2 seasons experience in Middle east the serbian specialist coach has long experience in Europe he won 7 medals with Serbian Youth National Teams two of them are Silver Medals of Fiba U19 World Championship in in 2011 and 2013, 3 Gold medals in European U18 in 2007, U16 in 2001 and U20 in 2006, he also coached several teams in Poland, Germany and Serbia.

In only one game he had very impressive stats: 18 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocks last season. Banijas Abu Dhabi (D1) landed experienced 37-year old Croatian center Bruno Sundov (221-119kg-80) from Al Shaab. In 1998 Sundov was drafted by Dallas Mavericks (NBA) in second round (35th overall). Among other achievements he won Bahrain League championship title in 2016. Sundov was selected to Bulgarian League All-Star Game in 2011, 2012 and 2015. Todd O'Brien (ex Seraeyett) signs at Al Naser - 26 days ago
Al Naser Dubai (D1) landed 28-year old American (has also Armenian passport) center Todd O'Brien (211-110kg-89, college: UAB). He played in the summer at Seraeyett in Palestinian PBBA. O'Brien managed to play in four leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In four Asia Champions Cup games he averaged impressive 19.3ppg, 11.8rpg (#3 in the league), 3.3apg, 1.0spg and 1.5bpg.
