Germani Basket Brescia (Serie A) agreed terms with 31-year old American forward Christian Burns (203-108kg-85, college: Philadelphia). He played last season at Al Wasl in UAE D1 league. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.
The previous (14-15) season Burns played at CEZ Nymburk in Czech Republic NBL. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 19 NBL games he recorded 9.5ppg and 4.1rpg. Burns also played 13 games in Eurocup where he averaged 11.8ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.1apg and 1.3spg. He also played 21 games in VTB United League where he got 10.6ppg and 5.6rpg.
In 2007 Burns was drafted by Delaware Stars (USBL) in third round (21st overall).
The former Philadelphia University (NCAA Div.II) standoutis in his tenth season in pro basketball.
Burns has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2013.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won Czech Republic League championship title in 2015. Burns was also voted All-CACC Player of the Year back in 2007 at his college time.
Burns is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Israel (GreenTops Netanya), Poland (AZS Koszalin), Portugal (FC Porto Ferpinta), Russia (Enisey), Ukraine (Zaporizhya), Germany (ratiopharm Ulm) and Italy (Sutor Montegranaro).

Al Wasl Dubai (D1) tabbed 31-year old American forward Travis Gabbidon (201-86, college: UTSA). He started the season at Al Ittihad in Saudi Arabian SBL league. The last season Gabbidon played at Al Shaab. Among other achievements his team made it to the ABA Semifinals in 2014.
