Krasny Oktyabr tabs Davon Jefferson, ex Al Shabab - Dec 30, 2015

Krasny Oktyabr Volgograd (VTB) inked 29-year old American forward Davon Jefferson (204-99kg-86, college: USC, agency: TCA). He already started the season at Al Shabab in UAE D1 league. The last season Jefferson played at LG Sakers (KBL) in South Korean league. In 53 games he was second best scorer with impressive 21.3ppg and recorded 8.9rpg (#4 in the league), 3.0apg, 1.1spg and 1.1bpg. Jefferson received also All-Korean KBL 2nd Team award in 2015. His team won Korean KBL Regular Season in 2014.
He is a very experienced player. Jefferson has played also professionally in China (Guangzhou Liu Sui), France (ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket), Israel (Maccabi Haifa) and Russia (Enisey and Zenit).
He attended University of Southern California until 2008 and it is his eighth season in pro basketball.
Jefferson's game is described as: A versatile offensive player who is just as comfortable from the perimeter as he is posting up down low.
