United Arabic Emirates clinched 4th place in Holland at the Basketball Days Zwolle.
Tartu Ulikool/Rock won over United Arabic Emirates 106:56 in the Semifinal. Six players scored in double figures for the European side. Silver Leppik paced all the winners with 22 points and Ivan Nelyubov (207-C-88) as well as Kristo Saage had 14 each. Timo Eichfuss (200-F-88) brought 11, whilst Vallo Allingu (206-F/C-78) and Justin Ingram had 10 each.
NYC Warriors beat United Arabic Emirates 105:99 in the game for the 3rd place. The American side managed to grab the last victory at the tournament. Alexander Machowski erupted with 30 points and 20 rebounds, while Morakinqo Williams had 23. Jonathan Dunn nailed 19 and Robert Giles (194-G-87, agency: TSS Management, college: Ball St.) brought 14. Salah Sultan and Mohamed Latif replied with 21 points each in the losing case. Rashid Alzaabi netted 15, while Ali Abbas brought 10.

Al Naser Dubai (D1) signed 27-year old American power forward Greg Mangano (208-109kg-89, college: Yale). He played last season at Kangoeroes in Belgian Euromillions League. In 30 games he had 14.7ppg and 7.0rpg. The previous (14-15) season Mangano played at Kauhajoen Karhu in Finnish Korisliiga where in 47 games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.8ppg, 10.2rpg, 1.3apg and 1.5bpg. Christian Burns (ex Al Wasl) joins Brescia - 1 month ago

Germani Basket Brescia (Serie A) agreed terms with 31-year old American forward Christian Burns (203-108kg-85, college: Philadelphia). He played last season at Al Wasl in UAE D1 league. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. The previous (14-15) season Burns played at CEZ Nymburk in Czech Republic NBL. Byron Mullens (ex Konyaspor) agreed terms with Al Wasl !! - 2 months ago

Al Wasl Dubai (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of 27-year old British ex-international center Byron Mullens (213-125kg-89, college: Ohio State). He played most recently at Konyaspor in Turkish BSL. In 9 BSL games he recorded 9.8ppg, 2.2rpg and 1.1apg last season.
