United Arabic Emirates reached the Semifinal Stage in Holland. The team won and lost the games to finish second in Pool B.
In Day 1 NYC Warriors overcame United Arabic Emirates 91:76. Robert Giles (194-G-87, agency: TSS Management, college: Ball St.) paced all the winners with 23 points and Morakinyo Williams (213-C-88, agency: Interperformances, college: Citadel) brought 21. Alexander Machowski (205-C-91) ended up with 15 points, while Jonathan Dunn had 11. Rashid Alzaabi answered with 15 points and Ali Abba had 13. Tala Salem posted 12, while Mohamed Latif added 10.
United Arabic Emirates outscored Jiangsu Lions 94:72. Rashid Alzaabi paced all the winners with 28 points and Quais Omar scored 19. Ali Abba had 13 and Mohamed Latif brought 12. Sun Changchoa replied with 14 points in the losing effort, while Joseph Icill posted 13. Justin Boot notched 11 and Tray Britt added 8.

Sagesse successfully started their campaign to defend their title in Dubai after a win against Ball Above All. Sagesse's wonder duo of Terrell Stoglin (185-G-91, college: Maryland) and Michael Efevberha(193-G-84, college: CS Northridge) made all the difference starting the game. Banijas Abu Dhabi (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of 30-year old American (has also Nigerian passport) forward Alex Okafor (202-102kg-87, college: Princeton). He played last season at Louaize in Lebanese Pepsi LBL. In 26 games he recorded very impressive stats: 17.0ppg, 8.2rpg and 2.6apg.
