Zain gave a heroic performance yesterday in front of Mahram of Iran in the quarter-finals of the 21st Dubai International Tournament, however, The performance did not help the heros of Jordan to taste the defeat to outcome at the last seconds 66-70.
Despite the fact that Zain left the tournament, But the players were honored for the big performance they did last night which made the fans so impressed esspecially that the atmosphere around the team was so dark before heading to Dubai due to the current situation in Jordan after dissolving the Jordanian Basketball Federation 7 months ago and then the injuries of Mohammad Hamdan, Moussa Al Awadi, Enver Soobzokov, Kendall Dartez (207-C/F-80, college: Louisville) and finally Rasheim Wright.
It seems that the Zain will be forced once again to wait for giving make the revenge over the Iranian Champions, who have won in West Asian Clubs Championship last year in Amman 96-85, then returned and repeated the win in the final outcome of the Asian Clubs Championship in Jakarta, Indonesia 78-68.\
The 'Swing' results in the 1st round imposed this confrontation difficult early clash for Zain when they came out with 2 wins (Over An Nasr and Champville) and 2 losses (From Smart Gilas and Jalaa) finishing in the 3rd place.
