Al Nasr occupied the ninth position at the Asia Champions Cup. The UAE champions finished their campaign with a confident win over Duhok from Iraq. Duhok completed the tournament winless and remained in the tenth spot.
Duhok got to the better start to the game. They outscored the UAE side to take a 24:21 lead at the break. But Al Nasr recovered pretty quickly and surged ahead in the second stanza. Al Nasr rallied to a comfortable 46:33 advantage at the big break

But Al Nasr recovered pretty quickly and surged ahead in the second stanza. Al Nasr rallied to a comfortable 46:33 advantage at the big break. The dominance of Al Nasr grew in the third term. They looked solid and built a 16-point advantage at the final intermission. Duhok could not turn the tables in the fourth period. Al Nasr stayed cool and sealed the winning outcome at the end. Saleh Sultan knocked down 21 points for Al Nasr. Radhouane Slimane (205-C-80) also finished with 21 points in the victory. Calvin Cage (183-G-84, college: Buffalo) responded with 27 points for Duhok. Qutaiba Mohammed unloaded 23 points in the loss.

Al Riyadi maintained the advantage throughout the third quarter. The Lebanese champions entered the fourth stanza up by four points 70:66. Al Riyadi completely dominated the fourth term. They easily cleared off to race to the comfortable win at the end. Omar El Turk (188-G-81, college: Dawson Coll.) and Nate Johnson (199-F-77, college: Louisville) delivered 14 points each in the victory. Radhouane Slimane (205-C-80) responded with game-high 32 points for Al Nasr. Vincent Jones (210-C-77, college: Jackson St.) had 21 points in the losing effort.
