Mono Thew earned the second straight victory in the championship series. The game without a history. Mono Thew led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Mono Thew looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American center Anthony McClain (213-88, college: Cincinnati) had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 19 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Patrick Sanders (201-85, college: Cal-Irvine) chipped in 15 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. American forward Michael Singletary (198-88, college: Texas Tech, agency: Three Eye Sports) responded with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Filipino-American point guard Jason Brickman (181-91, college: LIU Brooklyn) scored 15 points and 7 assists. Four Mono Thew and five Mono Vampire players scored in double figures. Mono Vampire's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.

Hanoi Buffaloes clinched Bronze medals as they swept Mad Goat in the consolation final series. Mad Goat was ahead by 7 points at the halftime before a 49-35 second half run of Hanoi B.. American point guard Matt Van-Pelt (178-91, college: Spring Arbor) notched 33 points (!!!) and 5 assists to lead the effort and American-Filipino power forward Marcus Douthit (210-80, college: Providence) supported him with 20 points and 17 rebounds. Hanoi B.'s coach Todd Purves allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 30 points and 16 rebounds by American-Filipino guard Taylor Statham (198-92, college: CS San Bernar.) did not help to save the game for Mad Goat. Bahamas center Magnum Rolle (211-86, college: Louisiana Tech) added 23 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

Experienced American Avery Scharer (188-G-86) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Hitech and that's him to receive a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 12. The 30-year old guard had a double-double of 29 points and eleven rebounds, while his team crushed PEA (#3, 7-5) with 21-point margin 103-82. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in TBL. Second ranked Hitech faced one of their biggest challengers PEA. Guests from Bangkok (10-2) smashed host PEA (7-5) 103-82. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 21 points. Hitech dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to PEA's 40. PEA (TBL) landed 29-year old British center Morakinyo Williams (213-122kg-88, college: Citadel, agency: Interperformances). He played most recently at Saint Francois in French Liga Regionale. Williams' team was regular season runner-up in SEC Eastern Division in 2008. He represented United Kingdom at the European Championships U20 Division B in Targu Mures (Romania) nine years ago.
