Mono Thew upset Hanoi Buffaloes on the road to force the third decisive game in the series. It looked good early as Hanoi B. took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Mono Thew had a 31-18 second period charge getting the lead and Hanoi B. was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 89-98. American center Anthony McClain (213-88, college: Cincinnati) notched 30 points and 8 rebounds (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and the other American import forward Patrick Sanders (201-85, college: Cal-Irvine) supported him with 25 points and 5 rebounds. Even 26 points and 9 rebounds by American-Filipino power forward Marcus Douthit (210-80, college: Providence) did not help to save the game for Hanoi B.. American point guard Matt Van-Pelt (178-91, college: Spring Arbor) added 21 points and 6 assists for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

Mono Vampire topped Mad Goat to secure the TBL Finals appearance. American forward Michael Singletary (198-88, college: Texas Tech, agency: Three Eye Sports) scored 38 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Filipino-American point guard Jason Brickman (181-91, college: LIU Brooklyn) chipped in 21 points and 6 assists during the contest. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Bahamas center Magnum Rolle (211-86, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Stealth Sport) responded with 28 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and American-Filipino guard Taylor Statham (198-92, college: CS San Bernar.) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
