American Frederick Jones had an amazing evening in the last round for Mad Goat, receiving a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 16.
The player had a double-double of 35 points and 14 rebounds, while his team edged out Dunkin' Raptors (#8, 5-11) 83-82. Mad Goat maintains the 4th position in Thailand TBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Mad Goat will need more victories to improve their 12-4 record. In the team's last game Jones had a remarkable 52.4% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He just recently signed at Mad Goat, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Frederick Jones has solid league stats. He is in league's top in assists (7th best: 4.3apg).

The second best player in last round's games was 31-year old American Travis George (206-PF-85, agency: Haylett Sports) of Adroit. George had a very good evening with a double-double of 31 points and 26 rebounds. Bad luck as Adroit lost that game 112-123 to the higher-ranked Kabayan (#6, 7-9). Adroit managed to keep the same 9th spot in the standings. 15 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Adroit managed to get this year. George is one of the most experienced players at Adroit and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. Former star George is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third on the list of top players last round was American Tavarion Nix (201-SF) of Kabayan (#6). Nix showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, twenty rebounds (!!!) and five assists in the last round. He was a key player of Kabayan, leading his team to a 123-112 win against the lower-ranked Adroit (#9, 1-15). The chances of Kabayan ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 9 games, recording just seven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Nix could help Kabayan to bring them higher in the standings. Nix has a great season in Thailand. After 16 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 15.8rpg (3rd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Reginald Johnson (208-C-89) of Mono Vampire - 26 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Avery Scharer (188-G-86) of Hitech - 28 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists
6. Maurice Shaw) of PEA - 24 points, 16 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Anthony McClain (213-C-88) of Mono Thew - 22 points and 14 rebounds
8. Kenneth Smith (195-G/F-87) of Adroit - 42 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Michael Singletary (198-F-88) of Mono Vampire - 27 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Nahshon George (206-F-93) of TGE - 26 points and 16 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
