American Reginald Johnson (208-C-89, agency: Three Eye Sports) had a great game in the last round for league's leader Mono Vampire and that's him to receive a Court Side Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 27-year old center had a double-double of 37 points and twenty rebounds, while his team beat Kabayan (#6, 6-8) 112-100. It allowed Mono Vampire to consolidate first place in the Thailand TBL. Mono Vampire have a solid 12-2 record. In the team's last game Johnson had a remarkable 81.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Mono Vampire's top player in his first season with the team. University of Miami, Florida graduate has very impressive stats this year. Johnson is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 14.8rpg) and averages solid 1.4bpg and 54.0% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 28-year old American center Anthony McClain (213-C-88) of Mono Thew. McClain impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 21 points and 22 rebounds. Of course Mono Thew cruised to a 86-77 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Dunkin' Raptors (#8, 4-10). Mono Thew's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team's 11-3 record is not bad at all. McClain is one of the most experienced players at Mono Thew and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Bahamas Magnum Rolle (211-C-86, agency: Stealth Sport) of Mad Goat (#4). Rolle showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, ten rebounds and nine assists in the last round. He was a key player of Mad Goat, leading his team to a 90-85 win against slightly lower-ranked TGE (#5, 7-7). Mad Goat needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 4 lost games. Rolle has a great season in Thailand. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.9ppg (9th best). He also has 1.9bpg and FGP: 51.0%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Travis George (206-PF-85) of Adroit - 20 points and 26 rebounds
5. Tavarion Nix (201-SF) of Kabayan - 31 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists
6. Michael Singletary (198-F-88) of Mono Vampire - 22 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Kwame Alexander (201-C-90) of Hitech - 26 points and 16 rebounds
8. Wuttipong Dasom (195-C-91) of Hitech - 33 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Steven Thomas (204-C/F-81) of Hanoi B. - 11 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists
10. Matt Van Pelt (178-PG-91) of Hanoi B. - 24 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

The Player of the Week awards are presented by Court Side. Court Side is the global leader in basketball management, and is widely regarded as the most dynamic and innovative company of its kind. It was the first Basketball Agency to launch its own website, and the first to have its own database. Court Side has more agents and manpower within its organization, than any other competitor, and its international network of basketball contacts is still unparalleled.
