26-year old center Kwame Alexander (201-C-90) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Hitech and receives a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 11.
He had a double-double of 36 points and 17 rebounds, while his team beat Kabayan (#6, 6-6) 95-84. Hitech was forced-out from the top positions in Thailand league. They are still close to the very top. Hitech would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 10-2 record. Alexander just recently signed at Hitech, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Cal State - San Bernardino graduate has very impressive stats this year. Alexander is in league's top in points (5th best: 21.7ppg).

Second best performed player last round was Michael Earl (203-F-85) of Dunkin' Raptors. He is American forward in his first season at Dunkin' Raptors. In the last game Earl recorded impressive double-double of 30 points and 23 rebounds. Bad luck as Dunkin' Raptors lost that game 95-100 to slightly higher-ranked Hanoi B. (#7, 4-8). Dunkin' Raptors is still second from the bottom in the standings. 9 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Dunkin' Raptors managed to get this year. Earl is a newcomer at Dunkin' Raptors and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.8ppg (#4). He also registered 14.7 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to Steven Thomas (204-C/F-81) of Hanoi B. (#7). Thomas showcased his all-around game by recording 16 points, 32 rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Hanoi B., leading his team to a 100-95 win against slightly lower-ranked Dunkin' Raptors (#8, 3-9). The chances of Hanoi B. not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 8 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Thomas could try to bring Hanoi B.'s a little bit higher in the standings. Thomas has individually a great season in Thailand. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 17.5rpg (#1 in league). He also has 1.4bpg and FGP: 55.5%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Anthony McClain (213-C-88) of Mono Thew - 25 points and 20 rebounds
5. Avery Scharer (188-G-86) of Hitech - 28 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists
6. Travis George (206-PF-85) of Adroit - 18 points, 24 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Jeff Viernes (173-PG-90) of TGE - 26 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists
8. Marcus Douthit (210-C/F-80) of Hanoi B. - 27 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists
9. Leo Avenido (188-G-78) of Kabayan - 28 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Magnum Rolle (211-C-86) of Mad Goat - 15 points, 18 rebounds and 6 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
