TBL Round 8: Mono Vampire beats Mono Thew. by two after a very close game - Jul 12, 2016

The most exciting game of round 8 in the TBL took place in Bangkok. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked Mono Thew. (3-5) to third ranked Mono Vampire (5-3) 77-75 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Mono Thew.. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Defending champion maintains third position with 5-3 record having just two points less than leader Hitech. Mono Thew. at the other side dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. They share the position with PEA and TGE. Mono Vampire are looking forward to face TGE (#5) in the next round. Mono Thew. will play against OSK and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game for Hitech (7-1) which played road game in against 4th ranked TGE (3-5). First ranked Hitech managed to get a 9-point victory 114-105. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of TGE. Hitech have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-1 record. TGE at the other side dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. They share the position with PEA and Mono Thew.. Hitech will play against bottom-ranked Raptors (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. TGE will play against Mono Vampire and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. 5th ranked PEA (3-5) played at the court of seventh ranked OSK (4-4). OSK did not have too big problems ending evening with a very confident victory 87-69 on Sunday. OSK moved-up to fourth place. PEA lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Mono Thew. and TGE. OSK will meet at home Mono Thew. (#7) in the next round. PEA will play against the league's second-placed Nakorn Mad Goat and hope to secure a win.

TGE - Hitech 105-114

An interesting game for Hitech (7-1) which played road game in against 4th ranked TGE (3-5). First ranked Hitech managed to get a 9-point victory 114-105. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of TGE. The guests were already 17 points ahead at halftime and as many as 25 after three quarters before a 41-25 last quarter charge of TGE cut the lead to 114-105 at the end of the game. Hitech have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-1 record. TGE at the other side dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. They share the position with PEA and Mono Thew.. Hitech will play against bottom-ranked Raptors (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. TGE will play against Mono Vampire and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

OSK - PEA 87-69

The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. 5th ranked PEA (3-5) played at the court of seventh ranked OSK (4-4).
