Thailand secured their Level I spot for another season. They overcame Hong Kong in the Qualifying Round to stay in the top division. Supira Kianbut (175-C-94) came up with 16 points and 12 rebounds to pace the winners.
Hong Kong started the game aggressively. They registered a 14:12 lead after ten minutes. But Thailand paid much stress to defence in the second quarter and held Hong Kong to only 7 points. Thailand surged ahead to pile up a 30:21 halftime lead. Thailand kept Hong Kong at bay throughout the third frame. They registered a 12-point lead heading into the fourth quarter. Hong Kong fought bravely until the final buzzer but could not avoid the loss at the end. Panparin Iam-U-Tama (162-G-95) had 13 points, while Varitta Srijunvong (168-F-97) added 12 points for the winners. Wong Ka Yee (172-F-94) answered with 18 points and 9 boards for Hong Kong. Li Tsz Kwan (169-F-95) netted 12 points and 9 caroms in the loss.

China remains undefeated at the U18 Asia Championship. The team won over Thailand 81:37 to finish Group A with 5-0 record. Thailand could not make it to the Semifinals as they finished 5th with 1-4 record.
China started with 19-10 and added massive 20-9 in the second frame. The favorites dominated also the second half and never slowed down. They won the third period 22-14 and led 28 points after 3 quarters. Moreover China won the last stanza 20-4 and increased to the final 81:37 win.
Gong Li (187-F-95) top-scored for the winners with 16 points and Huang Sijing (190-C/F-96) nailed 12. Yang LiWei (175-G-95) followed them with 11, while Yang Hengyu (194-F/C-95) added 9. Sirirak Daenkaewmoon (170-G-94) and Supira Kianbut (175-C-94) answered with 10 points each in the losing effort.

Japan improved to 3-1 record in Group A at the U18 Asia Championship. The team overcame Thailand 103:38 in the start of Day 4.
Japan trailed 0-3 in the opening tip but erupted with 32-7 in the first period. They favorites never looked behind after and allowed the opponents to score another 7 points in the second frame. Maria Kawakami (172-G-94) closed the half at 63:14. In the second half Japan posted 20 points in the third and the last quarters. They won the third period 20-14 and finished the game with 20-10 in the last stanza.
Maria Kawakami top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Miyuki Kawamura (183-C-94) nailed 16. Saki Matsumoto (176-CF-94) collected 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Akie Hayasaka (175-G-94) added 11. Panparin Iam-U-Tama (162-G-95) and Supira Kianbut (175-C-94) delivered 8 points each in defeat.
