They maintained the lead throughout the intense second frame. The visitors gained a 3-point halftime lead 32:29. The Slammers increased the tempo in the third term. The hosts went for 23 points in the period to cut the deficit to 2 points. It all came down to the final seconds in this one. David Palmer (206-F/C-86, college: N.Kentucky) drained a three-pointer to give the Heat a 77:72 lead with just over a minute remaining. Wacharapong Tongsri answered with a triple to narrow the gap, but he again missed another attempt that could have won the game for the Slammers. David Palmer produced 20 points and 12 rebounds, while Phillip Aaron Morrison contributed 19 points for the winning team. Michael Earl (203-F-85, college: Utah St.) answered with 19 points for the Slammers. Wutipong Dawsom and Wacharapong Tongsri had 16 points each in the loss.
