Thailand Slammers - Philippine Patriots 74:80

Philippine Patriots finished the regular season on a high note. They shot down the Thailand Slammers on the road to improve at 16-5 record. Anthony Johnson (197-G/F-79, agency: Interperformances, college: La-Lafayette) knocked down 15 points to lead the charge.
The Patriots got to a quick start. They established a 20:13 lead after ten minutes of action. The margin grew in the second term. The Patriots stretched the gap to as many as 13 points at halftime 36:23. The Slammers increased the tempo in the third stanza. The home team cut the deficit to 8 points at the final intermission. The Slammers unloaded 25 points in the fourth frame but it was not enough to threaten the margin. Nakiea Miller (204-C-79, college: Iona), Robert Wainwright (196-F-73, college: Solano CC) and Marcelino Arellano (178-G-86) added 11 points each for the visitors. Calvin Williams (206-F-87, college: SE Missouri St.) answered with game-high 21 points for the Slammers. Rexander Leynes had 15 points in the loss.

Cambodia's Dar Antony Dominic(167-PG-94) began his Sojourn in the Thailand basketball League with a win as his new team MADGOAT defeated OSK 81-78 on Saturday night. Dominic, who was unveiled as one of the ASEAN imports on June 14 was in the team 4 days later and playing as a point guard helped to inspire Madgoats to victory in the clash played at Shrewsbury. Dar's pro career starts at Nakorn Mad Goat - 7 days ago

Nakorn Phantom Mad Goat (TBL) tabbed American guard Dominic Dar. He just graduated from Northern Essex CC (JUCO). In 29 games he averaged 13.9ppg, 1.6rpg and 3.3apg last season. As mentioned above Dar is just out of the college and it will be his first season in pro basketball. He was selected to NJCAA D3 All-Region XXI 3rd Team in 2016.
