Yulon Luxgen - Taiwan Beer 68-76

Taiwan Beer grabbed the second win over Yulon Luxgen in the series. Taiwan Beer outrebounded Yulon Luxgen 48-35 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was Canadian center Liam McMorrow (218-87, college: Tenn Tech) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 19 rebounds. International Po-Hsun Chou (197-91) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Four Taiwan Beer players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Ivorian-French power forward Herve Lamizana (208-81, college: Rutgers, agency: Basket Management Solutions) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Cheng-Ju Lu (194-86) added 24 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Dacin Tigers outgunned Pauian to grab 3-0 lead. Dacin Tigers brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Pauian was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-92, college: N.Mexico St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 20 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field). Guard Chih-Wei Wu (182-87) contributed with 21 points and 8 assists for the winners. Dacin Tigers' coach Da Zong Qiu allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. International power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and the former international forward Douglas Creighton (196-85, college: Madonna) added 19 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Pauian. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.

The Singapore Slingers used a balanced offence and scrappy defence to cruise to a straightforward 89-69 over Taiwan's Yulon Luxgen Dinos in their Merlion Cup 2017 game on Wednesday (Sep 20) at the OCBC Arena. Shenzhen outscore Pauian in Macau - 1 month ago
Shenzhen - Pauian 86:74 Shenzhen Leopards secured the starting victory at the Super 8 tournament in Macau. They topped Pauian behind 22 points from Keith Langford (193-SG-83, college: Kansas).
