Taiwan Beer - Yulon Luxgen 85-73

Taiwan Beer held off Yukon Luxgen to even the series at 1-1. Taiwan Beer dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Yulon Luxgen's 32. They outrebounded Yulon Luxgen 42-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Taiwan Beer especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. The best player for the winners was Canadian center Liam McMorrow (218-87, college: Tenn Tech) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 17 rebounds. Guard Huan-Ya Yu (183-93) chipped in 12 points and 4 assists. Ivorian-French power forward Herve Lamizana (208-81, college: Rutgers, agency: Basket Management Solutions) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Cheng-Ju Lu (194-86) added 20 points respectivelyfor Taiwan Beer. Four Yulon Luxgen players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Pauian - Dacin Tigers 87-98

Dacin Tigers outgunned Pauian for 2-0 lead in the series. Pauian was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-92, college: N.Mexico St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Yi-Xiang Zhou (191-91) contributed with 16 points and 5 assists for the winners. International power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane) replied with 26 points and 8 rebounds and the former international swingman Chi-Wei Lee (192-93) added 20 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Pauian. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
