There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in SBL.

Sixth-ranked KKL (7-20) made lots of trouble for third ranked Fubon Braves (17-12) on Friday. Fubon Braves managed to secure only two-point victory 88-86. However their fans expected easier game. Central African-American center Patrick O'Bryant (213-86, college: Bradley) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winners. Guard Yu-Hsuan Sung (183-89) chipped in 24 points. American forward Eugene Phelps (198-90, college: Long Beach St.) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds for lost side. Fubon Braves maintains third place with 17-12 record having just two points less than leader Dacin Tigers. KKL at the other side dropped to the bottom position with 20 games lost. They share it with Bank of Taiwan. Fubon Braves will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. KKL will play against Pauian (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a loss of third ranked Fubon Braves (17-12) against fourth ranked Yulon Luxgen (16-11) on Saturday night. Fubon Braves were defeated by Yulon Luxgen in a tough game 84-90. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Fubon Braves. Worth to mention a great performance of Ivorian-French power forward Herve Lamizana (208-81, college: Rutgers, agency: Basket Management Solutions) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Cheng-Ju Lu contributed with 21 points for the winners. Central African-American center Patrick O'Bryant (213-86, college: Bradley) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists for Fubon Braves. Yulon Luxgen maintains fourth place with 16-11 record. Fubon Braves at the other side keep the third position with 12 games lost. Yulon Luxgen will play against Bank of Taiwan (#6) in the next round. Fubon Braves will have a break next round.

Sim Bhullar stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. At the losing side Bryan Davis responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 blocks. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dacin Tigers maintains first place with 20-8 record. Defending champion Taiwan Beer keeps the second position with 11 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Bottom-ranked Bank of Taiwan managed to get a seventh victory, breaking the series of three consecutive losses. This time they won against fifth-ranked Pauian 94-86. Wei-Che Lee nailed 27 points for the winning side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bank of Taiwan (7-20) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with KKL. Pauian at the other side keeps the fifth position with 15 games lost. Bank of Taiwan's next round opponent will be higher ranked Yulon Luxgen (#4) and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Pauian will play against KKL and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Fubon Braves - Yulon Luxgen 84-90

Very important is a loss of third ranked Fubon Braves (17-12) against fourth ranked Yulon Luxgen (16-11) on Saturday night. Fubon Braves were defeated by Yulon Luxgen in a tough game 84-90. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Fubon Braves. Yulon Luxgen made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Ivorian-French power forward Herve Lamizana (208-81, college: Rutgers, agency: Basket Management Solutions) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. The former international forward Cheng-Ju Lu (194-86) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Central African-American center Patrick O'Bryant (213-86, college: Bradley) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Yu-Hsuan Sung (183-89) added 20 points in the effort for Fubon Braves. Five Yulon Luxgen and four Fubon Braves players scored in double figures. Yulon Luxgen maintains fourth place with 16-11 record. Fubon Braves at the other side keep the third position with 12 games lost. Yulon Luxgen will play against Bank of Taiwan (#6) in the next round. Fubon Braves will have a break next round.

They outrebounded Taiwan Beer 45-28 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-92, college: N.Mexico St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners and guard Yi-Xiang Zhou (191-91) chipped in 21 points and 9 rebounds. Five Dacin Tigers players scored in double figures. At the losing side American center Bryan Davis (206-86, college: Texas A&M) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 blocks and international point guard Yu-An Chiang (174-91) scored 20 points. Bottom-ranked Bank of Taiwan managed to get a seventh victory, breaking the series of three consecutive losses. This time they won against fifth-ranked Pauian 94-86. 31 personal fouls committed by Pauian helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International guard Wei-Che Lee (179-91) nailed 27 points for the winning side and forward Jie Guo-Shao (190-90) accounted for 23 points. Four Bank of Taiwan players scored in double figures. International power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane) came up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and the former international forward Douglas Creighton (196-85, college: Madonna) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Pauian in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bank of Taiwan (7-20) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with KKL. Pauian at the other side keeps the fifth position with 15 games lost. Yulon Luxgen (SBL) added to their roster 24-year old American center Isaiah Austin (216-102kg-93, college: Baylor, agency: Slash Sports). He played last summer at Pilipinas in Champions Cup. Austin managed to play in four leagues in three countries last year (!!!). In 7 Asia Champions Cup games he recorded very impressive stats: 20.0ppg, 13.0rpg, 2.4apg and 3.1bpg.
