The games are now more important than at the beginning of the Regular Season. We may still expect few shocking results in upcoming 3 rounds.

Seventh-ranked Bank of Taiwan (6-20) gave a tough game to third ranked Fubon Braves (16-11) on Sunday. Fubon Braves managed to secure only three-point victory 83-80. However their fans expected much easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of Central African-American center Patrick O'Bryant (213-86, college: Bradley) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds and forward Bo-Wei Zhang (190-90) who added 19 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Fubon Braves maintains third position with 16-11 record having just three points less than leader Dacin Tigers. Bank of Taiwan lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 20 games lost. Fubon Braves are looking forward to face Yulon Luxgen (#4) in the next round. Bank of Taiwan will play against Pauian and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a loss of second ranked Taiwan Beer (17-10) against fourth ranked Yulon Luxgen (15-11) on Sunday night. Taiwan Beer was defeated by Yulon Luxgen in a tough game 77-83. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Taiwan Beer. The winners were led by Ivorian-French power forward Herve Lamizana (208-81, college: Rutgers, agency: Basket Management Solutions) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 8 blocks and Shinian Chen supported him with 19 points and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 29 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists by American center Bryan Davis (206-86, college: Texas A&M) did not help to save the game for Taiwan Beer. Taiwan Beer's coach Chia-Hua Yan rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Yulon Luxgen maintains fourth position with 15-11 record. Defending champion Taiwan Beer keeps the second place with ten games lost. Yulon Luxgen will play against higher ranked Fubon Braves (#3) in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Taiwan Beer will play against the league's leader Dacin Tigers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Pauian at the other side keeps the fifth place with 14 games lost. Dacin Tigers will meet league's second-placed Taiwan Beer in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Pauian will play against Bank of Taiwan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Yulon Luxgen - Taiwan Beer 83-77

Very important is a loss of second ranked Taiwan Beer (17-10) against fourth ranked Yulon Luxgen (15-11) on Sunday night. Taiwan Beer was defeated by Yulon Luxgen in a tough game 77-83. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Taiwan Beer. Yulon Luxgen brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. The winners were led by Ivorian-French power forward Herve Lamizana (208-81, college: Rutgers, agency: Basket Management Solutions) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 8 blocks and the former international guard Shinian Chen (180-84) supported him with 19 points and 4 assists. Five Yulon Luxgen players scored in double figures. SBL top team - Dacin Tigers (19-8) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat fifth ranked Pauian (13-14) 98-91. The best player for the winners was guard Yi-Xiang Zhou (191-91) who scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Power forward Yen-Tsung Shih (194-92) chipped in 22 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was international power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane) who recorded a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds and the former international swingman Ching-Pang Lin (190-85) added 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Yulon Luxgen (SBL) added to their roster 24-year old American center Isaiah Austin (216-102kg-93, college: Baylor, agency: Slash Sports). He played last summer at Pilipinas in Champions Cup. Austin managed to play in four leagues in three countries last year (!!!). In 7 Asia Champions Cup games he recorded very impressive stats: 20.0ppg, 13.0rpg, 2.4apg and 3.1bpg. The NBA season just began Tuesday, but for Nets guard Jeremy Lin(6'3''-PG-88, college: Harvard), the 2017-18 campaign is already over.
