The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute susprises and upsets. The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with defeat of the leader and favorites losing the games.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Dacin Tigers (18-8) against seventh ranked KKL on Saturday night. KKL were defeated by seventh ranked KKL (7-19) 90-86. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dacin Tigers. KKL made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. American forward Eugene Phelps (198-90, college: Long Beach St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds. Guard Tai-Jie Wang (183-92) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-92, college: N.Mexico St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 20 rebounds and 4 blocks for Dacin Tigers. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. KKL moved-up to sixth place. Dacin Tigers at the other side still keep top position with eight games lost. KKL will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Dacin Tigers will play against Pauian and are hoping to win this game.
An interesting game for Taiwan Beer (17-9) which played against 3rd placed Fubon Braves (15-11). Second ranked Taiwan Beer managed to get a 4-point victory 76-72. It was a great evening for American center Bryan Davis (206-86, college: Texas A&M) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds. Yu-An Chiang helped adding 24 points and 5 rebounds. Taiwan Beer's coach Chia-Hua Yan allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Central African-American center Patrick O'Bryant (213-86, college: Bradley) responded with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Taiwan Beer have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains second place with 17-9 record behind leader Dacin Tigers. Fubon Braves at the other side keep the third position with 11 games lost. Taiwan Beer will play against Yulon Luxgen (#4) in the next round. Fubon Braves will play against Bank of Taiwan and hope to get back on the winning track.

It was a quality performance for Yi-Xiang Zhou who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. Luke Nevill came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds for Bank of Taiwan in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dacin Tigers maintains first place with 18-8 record. Loser Bank of Taiwan dropped to the bottom position with 19 games lost. Dacin Tigers will meet Pauian (#5) in the next round. Bank of Taiwan will play against Fubon Braves and hope to secure a win.

Taiwan Beer's next round opponent will be Yulon Luxgen (#4).

Yulon Luxgen will play against the league's second-placed Taiwan Beer and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Taiwan Beer - Fubon Braves 76-72

An interesting game for Taiwan Beer (17-9) which played against 3rd placed Fubon Braves (15-11). Second ranked Taiwan Beer managed to get a 4-point victory 76-72. Taiwan Beer outrebounded Fubon Braves 42-28 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American center Bryan Davis (206-86, college: Texas A&M) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds.
