The Regular Season in SBL is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 5 rounds.

The most important game in the last round was the one between second ranked Fubon Braves (15-10) and fifth ranked Pauian (12-13) on Sunday night. Fubon Braves were defeated by Pauian in a tough game 80-84. They made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Fubon Braves helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points, 17 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winners. point guard Chen Jian-En (181-88, college: Biola, CA) chipped in 21 points. The former international swingman Wen-Cheng Tsai (190-85) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Pauian maintains fifth position with 12-13 record. Fubon Braves at the other side dropped to the third place with ten games lost. Pauian are looking forward to face higher ranked Yulon Luxgen (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Fubon Braves will play against the league's second-placed Taiwan Beer and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Worth to mention a great performance of Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-92, college: N.Mexico St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 17 rebounds. Yi-Xiang Zhou contributed with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Ivorian-French power forward Herve Lamizana (208-81, college: Rutgers, agency: Basket Management Solutions) replied with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for Yulon Luxgen. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Dacin Tigers maintains first position with 17-7 record. Yulon Luxgen at the other side keeps the fourth place with ten games lost. Dacin Tigers will play against bottom-ranked KKL (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. Yulon Luxgen will play against Pauian and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

At the losing side Luke Nevill responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Taiwan Beer have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place. Loser Bank of Taiwan keeps the sixth position with 18 games lost. They share it with KKL. Taiwan Beer will meet Fubon Braves (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Bank of Taiwan will play against the league's leader Dacin Tigers and hope to secure a win.

Taiwan Beer - Bank of Taiwan 86-76

The game with biggest result difference took place in . Local Taiwan Beer (15-9) beat 6th ranked Bank of Taiwan (6-18) 86-76 on Sunday night. Taiwan Beer made 26-of-33 free shots (78.8 percent) during the game, while Bank of Taiwan only scored ten points from the stripe. Taiwan Beer forced 22 Bank of Taiwan turnovers. American center Bryan Davis (206-86, college: Texas A&M) had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals to lead the charge for the winners and guard Huan-Ya Yu (183-93) chipped in 15 points during the contest. At the losing side Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and international guard Wei-Che Lee (179-91) scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Taiwan Beer have a solid three-game winning streak.
