Coincidentally all hosts won their games.

Sixth defeat of league's leader Fubon Braves (12-6) against third ranked Yulon Luxgen (11-6) 70-68 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Fubon Braves. Yulon Luxgen forced 19 Fubon Braves turnovers. Strangely Fubon Braves outrebounded Yulon Luxgen 54-27 including a 25-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Ivorian-French power forward Herve Lamizana (208-81, college: Rutgers) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. International guard Kai-Hsiang Hu (190-91) contributed with 10 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Canadian center Liam McMorrow (218-87, college: Tenn Tech) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 25 rebounds for Fubon Braves. Fubon Braves' coach Hang-Shu Yan rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Yulon Luxgen have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 11-6 record behind leader Dacin Tigers. Fubon Braves at the other side dropped to the second place with six games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Dacin Tigers. Fubon Braves will play next round against Bank of Taiwan trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Yulon Luxgen will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Taiwan Beer on the road.

Defending champion Taiwan Beer keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. Taiwan Beer will play next round against strong Yulon Luxgen trying to get back on the winning streak. Dacin Tigers will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Pauian at home.

In the last two games of round 14 Bank of Taiwan was beaten by Taiwan Beer 82-69. Pauian won against KKL 82-71.

Dacin Tigers - Taiwan Beer 90-77

American center Bryan Davis (206-86, college: Texas A&M) scored 16 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Huan-Ya Yu (183-93) chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and international guard Wei-Che Lee (179-91) scored 17 points and 5 assists. Four Bank of Taiwan players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending champion maintains fourth position with 9-8 record. Bank of Taiwan at the other side keeps the sixth place with 12 games lost. Taiwan Beer will play against higher ranked Yulon Luxgen (#3) in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Bank of Taiwan will play against the league's second-placed Fubon Braves and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Rather expected game when 7th ranked KKL (4-13) lost to fifth ranked Pauian (7-10) 71-82. Pauian dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to KKL's 36. They outrebounded KKL 45-34 including 33 on the defensive glass. International power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane) had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 16 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Chin-Yao Shih (187-90) chipped in 15 points during the contest. American forward Eugene Phelps (198-90, college: Long Beach St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds and international power forward Kuan-Chuan Chen (197-93) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Pauian maintains fifth position with 7-10 record. KKL at the other side stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost. Pauian will play against league's leader Dacin Tigers in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. KKL will play against the league's leader Dacin Tigers (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
