What a coincidence that all visitors won their games.

Fifth-ranked Bank of Taiwan (7-13) used its home court advantage to challenge first ranked Pure Youth (17-3) on Friday. Pure Youth managed to secure only three-point victory 80-77. However their fans expected much easier game. Bank of Taiwan trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 30-20 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 77-80 at the end of the game. It was a good game for American power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane, agency: Elite Talent Exchange) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. The former international swingman Ching-Pang Lin (190-85) contributed with 14 points for the winners. American forward Joseph Taylor (205-85, college: Wyoming, agency: Top Notch Sports) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists for Bank of Taiwan. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Pure Youth have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 17-3 record. Bank of Taiwan lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Taiwan Beer. Pure Youth are looking forward to face league's second-placed Dacin Tigers in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bank of Taiwan will have a break next round.
Very important is a loss of second ranked Dacin Tigers (12-9) against seventh ranked KKL (7-14) on Friday night. Dacin Tigers were defeated by KKL in a tough game 79-87. It was a great evening for American forward Taylor King (203-88, college: Concordia Irvine, agency: Elite Talent Exchange) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 19 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Kuan-Lun Lin helped adding 23 points and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was American power forward Rolando Howell (206-82, college: S.Carolina) with 9 points and 13 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KKL maintains seventh place with 7-14 record. Dacin Tigers at the other side keep the second position with nine games lost. KKL will play against higher ranked Yulon Luxgen (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dacin Tigers will play against the league's leader Pure Youth where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
