Anwil Wloclawek (TBL) and 25-year old Canadian power forward Ryan Wright (206-113kg-87, college: Oklahoma) reached a mutual settlement and decided to part their ways. In 11 TBL games he played this season he averaged 6.3ppg and 2.9rpg. The last season Wright played at Taiwan Mobile in Taiwanese SBL where he lead the league in scoring at 19.3ppg (FGP: 54%), second in rebounding at 12.9rpg, and placed both in the top 10 in steals and blocks at 1.0bpg and 1.5spg respectively. Wright was selected to Asia-basket.com All-Taiwanese SBL 1st Team, All-Imports Team and to the All-Star Game where won Slam Dunk Contest.The other team Wright played that season for was SK Cherkasy Monkeys in Ukrainian Superleague. In 12 games he had 6.1ppg and 4.9rpg.

Dacin Tigers (SBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old Canadian international center Sim Bhullar (226-129kg-92, college: New Mexico State). He has a double citizenship as he also holds Indian passport. Bhullar played most recently at Raptors 905 Missisauga (D-League) in the U.S. In 39 games he recorded 9.6ppg, 6.9rpg, 1.1apg and 1.3bpg last season. Fubon Braves (SBL) landed 31-year old international swingman Wen-Cheng Tsai (190-98kg-85) from Pure Youth. Tsai has played there for the last seven years. In 39 SBL games he averaged 12.2ppg, 7.9rpg, 2.2apg and 1.3spg (in top 5) last season. Tsai helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. South Korea outplayed Taiwan A for a 67-57 win to grab second place in the last game of 38th William Jones Cup last night, while the junior Taiwan side were outclassed by the top side.
