Pure Youth retain SBL title - Apr 5, 2014

Pure Youth - Taiwan Mobile 83-69

Pure Youth celebrated the third straight SBL title. They overcame Taiwan Mobile in the fifth game of the series to win it 4-1. The game without a history. Pure Youth led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Pure Youth outrebounded Taiwan Mobile 45-29 including 17 on the offensive glass. International power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane, agency: Elite Talent Exchange) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds. The former international swingman Wen-Cheng Tsai (190-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Pure Youth players scored in double figures. Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and center Ying-Che Hung (200-86) added 14 points in the effort for Taiwan Mobile. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
