Syria finished 3rd in the WABA U16 Championship which was held in Jordan from 26 till 28 October 2012. Syria played in the first day against the Host team Jordan, It was tough
game .. but the Syrian NT had a big won, the game finished by 20 points for Syria and the final results was 56/36 .. with 23free throws missed ..

in the second game .. Syria played against Lebanon, We had the first lost in the competition after strong performance from the Syrian Side .. the game finished by 6pts for the
Lebanese side, final result was 60/54 .. but the Syrian Side missed 29 free throws !!!!!

and in the final game of WABA U16 Championship first round .. Syrian NT got the second lost against the Champion Iran .. after very strong and amazing performance from the Syrian
Side .. the game finished for the Iranian side by 5pts only !! the final result was 67/62, it was very tied game .. Iran beat Lebanon and Jordan by more 20points average !!

Full respect for the Coaching staff which include Tane Spasev , George Shakar, Odai Khabbaz for them effort with the National team .. the did very good job .. maybe we have more
time to preparation for the second round of WABA U16 which will host in Iran at March ..
