Aaron Haynes
Experienced American Aaron Haynes (201-F-81) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader SK Knights and that's him to receive a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 36-year old forward recorded a triple-double of 43 points adding also fifteen rebounds and ten assists, while his team edged out Mobis Phoebus (#7, 6-7) 105-104. It allowed SK Knights to consolidate first place in the South Korean KBL. SK Knights have a solid 11-2 record. Haynes turned to be SK Knights' top player in his first season with the team. Boise State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Haynes is in league's top in points (3rd best: 24.6ppg), rebounds (4th best: 10.4rpg) and averages solid 1.2bpg and 58.6% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 28-year old American forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-F-89) of Samsung Th.. Ratliffe impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 35 points and 24 rebounds. Of course Samsung Th. cruised to a 78-70 relatively comfortable win over Mobis Phoebus (6-7). This victory allowed Samsung Th. to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-7 record. Ratliffe is a newcomer at Samsung Th. and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.5ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 14.3rpg and 3.1apg.

The third best performed player last round was American David Simon (208-C-82) of Anyang KGC (#5). Simon got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for ten rebounds . He was a key player of Anyang KGC, leading his team to a 80-71 win against the lower-ranked LG Sakers (#8, 5-7). Anyang KGC needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 6 lost games. Simon has a great season in South Korea. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.6ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 9.4rpg (8th best). He also has 2.3bpg and FGP: 65.0%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Marqus Blakely (201-F-88) of Mobis Phoebus - 25 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists
5. Sek-Eun Oh (200-C-87) of Anyang KGC - 21 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Brandon Brown (201-PF-85) of ET Land - 17 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
