Samsung Thunder toppled Goyang Orions to advance into KBL Finals. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Goyang Orions won fourth quarter 25-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Goyang Orions 37-25 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Samsung Thunders looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-89, college: Missouri) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field). The former international forward Gregory Stevenson (197-78, college: Richmond) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Samsung Thunders players scored in double figures. American forward Aaron Haynes (201-81, college: Boise St.) answered with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and the former international forward Dong-Wook Kim (194-81) added 14 points and 7 assists in the effort for Goyang Orions.

The most important game in the last round took place in Jeonju between second ranked KCC Egis (16-7) and ninth ranked Goyang Orions (6-17) on Friday night. 36-year old forward Aaron Haynes (201-F-81) had a great game in the last round for league's best team SK Knights and receives a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 19. He recorded a triple-double of 23 points adding also 16 rebounds and 11 assists, while his team beat ET Land (#5, 12-10) 92-87. The game had a very big importance for third-ranked SK Knights as it allowed them to take a leadership position. SK Knights defeated 4th placed ET Land Elephants in Seoul 92-87. SK Knights made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. SK Knights outrebounded ET Land Elephants 53-35 including 16 on the offensive glass.
