Naturalized American Forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-F-89) had an amazing evening in the last round for Samsung Th., receiving a Usbasket.com Player of the Week award for round 46.
The 27-year old player had a double-double of 29 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat KCC Egis (#10, 16-35) 80-75. Samsung Th. maintains the 3rd position in South Korean KBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Samsung Th. will need more victories to improve their 32-18 record. Ratliffe turned to be Samsung Th.'s top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Missouri star has very solid stats this year. Ratliffe is in league's top in points (4th best: 23.6ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 13.1rpg) and averages impressive 1.2bpg and 65.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 34-year old American David Simon (208-C-82) of league's leader Anyang KGC. Simon had a very good evening with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course Anyang KGC cruised to a 95-86 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked ET Land (#6, 24-27). Of course Anyang KGC still keep the league's top spot. His team has currently 35-15 record. Simon is a newcomer at Anyang KGC, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.1ppg (#6). He also registered 9.7 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American swingman Mario Little (198-F/G-87) of LG Sakers (#7). Little showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, nine rebounds and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of LG Sakers, leading his team to a 91-85 win against slightly higher-ranked ET Land (#6, 24-27). The chances of LG Sakers ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 27 games, recording just twenty three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Little could help LG Sakers to bring them higher in the standings. Little has a very solid season. In 33 games in South Korea he scored 14.5ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. James Kelly (201-F-93) of ET Land - 28 points and 11 rebounds
5. Andre Emmett (196-F-82) of KCC Egis - 35 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Sek-Eun Oh (200-C-87) of Anyang KGC - 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Leon Williams (203-C/F-86) of Sonic Boom KT - 21 points and 11 rebounds
8. Wendell McKines (198-F-88) of Dongbu Promy - 25 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Aaron Haynes (201-F-81) of Goyang Orions - 23 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Seung-Hyun Lee (201-C-92) of Goyang Orions - 19 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
