The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Anyang KGC as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Anyang KGC defeated 8th ranked SK Knights at home 79-69. The game was mostly controlled by Anyang KGC. SK Knights managed to win second period 26-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Anyang KGC dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to SK Knights' 32. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for American center David Simon (208-82, college: IPFW) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 14 rebounds. The former international center Sek-Eun Oh (200-87) contributed with 11 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Anyang KGC's coach Yu-Wan Song used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Terrico White (196-90, college: Mississippi) replied with 19 points and 5 rebounds for SK Knights. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. SK Knights at the other side keep the eighth place with 23 games lost. SK Knights will play next round against Mobis Phoebus trying to get back on the winning streak. Anyang KGC will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
An interesting game for Anyang KGC (25-9) which played road game in Seoul against second-best Samsung Thunders (23-11). Second ranked Anyang KGC managed to get a 10-point victory 83-73. American center David Simon (208-82, college: IPFW) had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and Jung-Hyun Lee chipped in 15 points and 7 assists during the contest. Anyang KGC's coach Yu-Wan Song allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-89, college: Missouri) with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Anyang KGC keeps a position of league leader. Samsung Thunders at the other side keep the second place with 11 games lost. Anyang KGC will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Samsung Thunders will play at home against ET Land Elephants and hope to get back on the winning track.
An interesting game for Goyang Orions (23-12) which hosted in Daegu one of their biggest challengers Dongbu Promy (19-15). Third ranked Goyang Orions managed to get a 7-point victory 67-60. O'Darien Bassett notched 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort. Even a double-double of 20 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists by Rodrique Benson did not help to save the game for Dongbu Promy. Dongbu Promy's coach Sei Bum Lee rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending champion maintains third position with 23-12 record having just one point less than leader Anyang KGC. Loser Dongbu Promy keeps the fourth place with 15 games lost. Goyang Orions will meet at home LG Sakers (#7) in the next round. Dongbu Promy will play against Sonic Boom KT in Busan and hope to secure a win.
The game between sixth ranked Mobis Phoebus (18-17) and 9th ranked KCC Egis (11-24) in Ulsan ended with biggest points difference. Mobis Phoebus beat guests from Jeonju 79-62. The best player for the winners was Nate Miller who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Mobis Phoebus have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. KCC Egis lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 24 games lost. Mobis Phoebus' next round opponent will be SK Knights (#8) in Seoul.

The most impressive performance of 30th round was 13 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists by Ji-Hoon Ham of Mobis Phoebus.

Samsung Th. - Anyang KGC 73-83
