29-year old forward Jasper Johnson (203-F-83) had an amazing evening in the last round for Sonic Boom KT and receives a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 26.
He had the game-high 31 points adding nine rebounds and six assists for Sonic Boom KT in his team's victory, helping them to crush SK Knights (#1, 27-7) with 25-point margin 88-63. Sonic Boom KT is placed at 5th position in South Korean league. Sonic Boom KT is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 16-18 record. Johnson turned to be Sonic Boom KT's top player in his first season with the team. Delta State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Johnson is league's best scorer averaging so far 19.3ppg. Johnson is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 8.2rpg) and averages solid 51.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Ricardo Ratliffe (203-F-89) of league's second-best Mobis Phoebus. He is American forward in his first season at Mobis Phoebus. In the last game Ratliffe recorded impressive double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he lead Mobis Phoebus to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked KCC Egis (#10, 6-28) 90-70. Mobis Phoebus' second position in the standings has not changed. His team's 24-10 record is not bad at all. Ratliffe is a newcomer at Mobis Phoebus and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.2ppg (#7). He also registered 9.6 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Kibwe Trim (208-F/C-84, agency: Top Notch Sports) of Anyang KGC (#4). Trim scored 18 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). Despite Trim's great performance Anyang KGC lost 70-80 to the lower-ranked Dongbu Promy (#8, 15-19). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Anyang KGC needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 18 victories and 16 lost games. Trim has a very solid season. In 33 games in South Korea he scored 6.6ppg. He also has 5.2rpg and FGP: 65.7%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Aaron Haynes (201-F-81) of SK Knights - 21 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Gregory Stevenson (198-F-78) of Mobis Phoebus - 24 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists
6. Carlos Powell (199-F-83) of ET Land - 16 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists
7. Darian Townes (208-F/C-84) of Samsung Th. - 16 points and 12 rebounds
8. Bu Kyung Choi (200-F-89) of SK Knights - 12 points and 13 rebounds
9. Tae-Sool Kim (180-PG-84) of Anyang KGC - 14 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Chris Alexander (216-C-80) of KCC Egis - 12 points and 12 rebounds

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
