Belizean-American Leon Williams (203-F/C-86) had a very impressive game in the last round for Goyang Orions and that's him to receive a Player of the Week award for round 25.
The 26-year old power forward had a double-double of 23 points and twenty rebounds, while his team beat Samsung Th. (#9, 13-20) 63-50. Goyang Orions maintains the 7th position in South Korean KBL. Goyang Orions is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 15-18 record. Williams turned to be Goyang Orions' top player in his first season with the team. Ohio University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Williams. Williams is in league's top in points (5th best: 17.6ppg) and averages solid 57.6% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 28-year old American power forward Rodrique Benson (207-F/C-84) of LG Sakers. Benson impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 15 points and 14 rebounds. Of course LG Sakers cruised to a 79-68 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked KCC Egis (#10, 5-27). This victory allowed LG Sakers to move up to 5th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 15-18 record. Benson is a newcomer at LG Sakers and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was former international forward Sung-Min Cho (197-F-83) of Sonic Boom KT (#6). Cho scored 28 points. Despite Cho's great performance Sonic Boom KT lost 77-79 to LG Sakers (15-18). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Sonic Boom KT ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 18 games, recording just fifteen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Cho could help Sonic Boom KT to bring them higher in the standings. Cho has a very solid season. In 31 games in South Korea he scored 13.1ppg. He also has FGP: 53.5% and 3PT: 46.4%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Darian Townes (208-F/C-84) of Samsung Th. - 15 points and 11 rebounds
5. Bu Kyung Choi (200-F-89) of SK Knights - 14 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Darian Townes (208-F/C-84) of Samsung Th. - 15 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Eric Sandrin (206-C/F-78) of Dongbu Promy - 14 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Dong-Geun Yang (181-G-81) of Mobis Phoebus - 18 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Carlos Powell (199-F-83) of ET Land - 15 points and 8 rebounds

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
