American forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-F-89) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Mobis Phoebus, receiving a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 20.
The 23-year old player had a double-double of 27 points and 16 rebounds, while his team edged out Dongbu Promy (#9, 9-18) 74-70. Mobis Phoebus is placed at 2nd position in South Korean KBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Mobis Phoebus will need more victories to improve their 19-8 record. Ratliffe turned to be Mobis Phoebus' top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Missouri star has very solid stats this year. Ratliffe is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 8.6rpg) and averages impressive 1.5bpg and 60.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 30-year old German Julian Sensley (206-F-82) of Dongbu Promy. Sensley had a very good evening with 30 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course Dongbu Promy cruised to a 71-63 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Samsung Th. (#7, 12-15). Dongbu Promy's 9th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 9-18 record. Sensley is a newcomer at Dongbu Promy, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Belizean forward Leon Williams (203-F/C-86) of Goyang Orions (#6). Williams scored 17 points and grabbed seventeen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Goyang Orions, leading his team to a 80-65 easy win against Samsung Th. (12-15). The chances of Goyang Orions ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 15 games, recording just twelve victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Williams could help Goyang Orions to bring them higher in the standings. Williams has a great season in South Korea. After 27 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.7ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 11.8rpg (#1 in league).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Carlos Powell (199-F-83) of ET Land - 21 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Tae-Jong Moon (199-F-75) of ET Land - 17 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists
6. Leon Williams (203-F/C-86) of Goyang Orions - 17 points and 12 rebounds
7. Ji-Hoon Ham (198-C/F-84) of Mobis Phoebus - 17 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Ji-Hyon Park (183-G-79) of Dongbu Promy - 19 points and 2 assists
9. Darian Townes (208-F/C-84) of Samsung Th. - 14 points and 11 rebounds

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
