KBL star Leather Terrence (204-C-81, college: S.Florida) left Orions due to his knee injury. Orions announced on Wednesday that they will get a former NCAA star Scott Merritt (208-C-82, agency: Top Notch Sports, college: Marquette).

"We were not trying to change Leather unless he wants to quit. He demands a full guarantee contract for rest of the season. But we could not accept that" Coach Choo Il-Seung said.

Scott Merritt was a college teammate of Dwayne Wade at Marquette University. He went to the Final Four in 2003 with D-wade. Merritt can run the floor and shoot the ball well even his big size.

"We do not have many choices. He is not a kind of guy who can fit for us perfectly. But his offence can be a good option for us" Choo Il-Seung said.
