Samsung Thunders sign Odartey Blankson - Nov 13, 2012

Seoul Samsung Thunders (KBL) signed 30-year old American (has also Ghanian passport) forward Odartey Blankson (199-102kg-82, college: UNLV, agency: Interperformances). Blankson missed two seasons and had longer break from professional basketball. He played most recently at STB Le Havre in French ProA. In 26 games that season he recorded 9.6ppg, 6.1rpg and 1.2apg.
His team won Korean KBL Regular Season in 2009.
Blankson was also voted All-SEBL Metro North Division 3rd Team back in 2006.
He is quite experienced player. Blankson has played also professionally in Italy (Rimini), Korea (Mobis Phoebus and LG Sakers), Venezuela (Trotamundos), SEBL (Marietta Storm) and CBA (Butte Daredevils).
He attended University of Nevada - Las Vegas until 2005 and actually missed last season. It will be his eighth season as a professional player.

Chiba Jets - Goyang Orions 83:68 Chiba Jets will play for the Super 8 international tournament title. They edged Goyang Orions today to reach the Final.
