Experienced American Aaron Haynes (201-F-81) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's leader SK Knights and that's him to receive a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 8. The 31-year old forward had a double-double of 30 points and fifteen rebounds, while his team crushed Anyang KGC (#5, 6-4) with 17-point margin 73-56. It allowed SK Knights to jump to the first place in the South Korean KBL. SK Knights have a solid 8-2 record. Haynes turned to be SK Knights' top player in his first season with the team. Boise State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Haynes is in league's top in points (2nd best: 19.7ppg), rebounds (5th best: 8.9rpg) and averages solid 57.5% FGP.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 29-year old American center Jasper Johnson (201-C-83) of Sonic Boom KT. Johnson impressed basketball fans with 29 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course Sonic Boom KT cruised to a 80-73 relatively comfortable win over the higher-ranked Mobis Phoebus (#4, 6-4). Sonic Boom KT's 7th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-6 record. Johnson is a newcomer at Sonic Boom KT and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.
The third best performed player last round was American Eric Sandrin (206-C/F-78) of Dongbu Promy (#9). Sandrin scored 24 points and grabbed six rebounds. He was a key player of Dongbu Promy, leading his team to a 89-68 easy win against the higher-ranked Goyang Orions (#3, 6-4). The chances of Dongbu Promy not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 7 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Sandrin could try to bring Dongbu Promy's a little bit higher in the standings. Sandrin has individually a great season in South Korea. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.7ppg (5th best). Eric Sandrin has also South Korean passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
Other top performing players last week: 4. Darian Townes (208-F/C-84) of Samsung Th. - 17 points and 11 rebounds 5. Dong Lim (198-F-90) of Samsung Th. - 21 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists 6. Daniel Sandrin (200-F-80) of Samsung Th. - 16 points and 8 rebounds 7. Sung-Min Cho (197-F-83) of Sonic Boom KT - 17 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists 8. Carlos Powell (199-F-83) of ET Land - 26 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists 9. Joo-Sung Kim (205-F/C-79) of Dongbu Promy - 15 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists 10. Tae-Sool Kim (180-PG-84) of Anyang KGC - 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists

We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
