Ji-Hoon Ham
Former international Ji-Hoon Ham (198-C/F-84) put on an amazing game in the last round for Mobis Phoebus, receiving a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 28-year old player had a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Anyang KGC (6-3) 73-64. Mobis Phoebus is placed at 4th position in South Korean KBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Mobis Phoebus will need more victories to improve their 6-3 record. Ham has many years of experience at Mobis Phoebus, through which he has constantly improved. Ji-Hoon Ham has solid league stats. He is in league's top in assists (3rd best: 5.4apg) and averages impressive 56.5% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 28-year old American Rodrique Benson (207-F/C-84) of LG Sakers. Benson had a very good evening with a double-double of 17 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as LG Sakers lost that game 77-87 to the higher-ranked SK Knights (#1, 7-2). LG Sakers managed to keep the same 7th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-5 record. Benson is a newcomer at LG Sakers, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Mobis Phoebus' star - American forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-F-89). Ratliffe scored 20 points and grabbed fourteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Ratliffe's great performance Mobis Phoebus lost 62-66 to #3 ranked Goyang Orions. But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Mobis Phoebus needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 6 victories and 3 lost games. Ratliffe has a great season in South Korea. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.8rpg (6th best). He also has 1.2bpg and FGP: 51.4%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Jasper Johnson (201-C-83) of Sonic Boom KT - 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Juan Pattillo (197-F-88) of Anyang KGC - 15 points and 11 rebounds
6. Andre Brown (206-F/C-81) of KCC Egis - 21 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Aaron Haynes (201-F-81) of SK Knights - 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists
8. Terrence Leather (204-C-81) of Goyang Orions - 14 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Aaron Haynes (201-F-81) of SK Knights - 21 points and 7 rebounds
10. Courtney Sims (211-C-83) of KCC Egis - 17 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
