Terrence Leather (204-C-81, college: S.Florida) made his season debut for Goyang, scoring 14 points including a crucial basket in the last ten seconds to lead the Goyang Orions to a 66-62 win over Ulsan Mobis Phoebus Tuesday night.

"My rhythym and timing was off, but it'll come back, I promise," he said after the game.

Leather also added nine rebounds, while Tony Akins (180-G-80, agency: Court Side, college: Georgia Tech) added seven points, 11 assists and four steals for Goyang, who improve to 6-3 on the season. Kim Dong-wook scored 18, and Leon Williams (203-F/C-86, college: Ohio) chipped in 12 for the Orions, winners of their last three games.

Ricardo Ratliffe (203-F-89, college: Missouri) scored a game high 20 points for Ulsan with 14 rebounds, while Greg Stevenson (198-F-78, college: Richmond) also added a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Mobis committed 19 turnovers in the game compared to Goyang's eight.

Mobis drops to 5-3 on the season with the loss.

There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in KBL. SK Knights defeated LG Sakers in Seoul 86-70. The game without a history. SK Knights led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by LG Sakers' players. Oh's double-double lands him Player of the Week award - 3 days ago
30-year old center Sek-Eun Oh (200-C-87) had an amazing evening in the last round for Anyang KGC and receives a Player of the Week award for round 1. He had a double-double of 28 points and 20 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team ET Land (#7, 0-1) with 16-point margin 97-81. Anyang KGC is placed at 6th position in South Korean league. Anyang KGC is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings.    [read more]

The Regular Season in KBL just started. Dongbu Promy defeated KCC Egis in Wonju 81-76. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Deonte Burton (183-91, college: Nevada) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 6 rebounds.
