Rod Benson (207-F/C-84, college: California) was a one-man wrecking crew Saturday afternoon as the Changwon LG Sakers defeated KCC Egis 66-63.

Benson scored 11 points and added 24 rebounds, eight assists, three steals and a block for LG to break a two game losing streak. Park Rae-Hun (192-F-89) added 18 points, and Kim Yong-Hwan (195-F-84) added 14.

Roh Seung-joon led KCC with 16 points, while import Andre Brown (206-F/C-81, agency: Interperformances, college: De Paul) had a double double with 12 points and 12 rebounds and two steals.




KCC drops to 1-6 with the loss.

Top ranked Samsung Thunders (13-4) recorded its fourth loss in Daegu on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by second ranked Goyang Orions (12-4) 100-85. American Forward Aaron Haynes (201-F-81) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Goyang Orions, receiving a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 13. The 35-year old player had a double-double of 34 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat Sonic Boom KT (#10, 2-14) 84-79. Goyang Orions maintains the 2nd position in South Korean KBL. The game between Top Four teams took place in Anyang. 3rd placed host Anyang KGC (10-5) lost to first ranked Samsung Thunders (13-3) 98-88.
