France overwhelm South Korea in the start of the Classification Round for 9-12 places. The European side celebrated an easy 110:50 win at the U17 World Championship I Kaunas. France U17 started with 29-12 in the opening period and never looked behind after. They added 23-6 in the second frame and enjoyed a 52:18 halftime advantage. Moreover France needed 24-12 in the third quarter to take 76:30 after thirty minutes. South Korea managed to score 20 points in the last quarter to finish with 50, however they could not even win that frame. France nailed 34 points in the final stanza to seal the victory. Arthur Rozenfeld (179-PG-95) top-scored for the winners with 21 points, while Charly Pontens (189-G-95), Damien Inglis (204-PF-95) and Antoine Chevrier (196-F/G-95) posted 14 each. Paul Rigot (199-SF-95) notched 11 and Petr Cornelie (209-C/F-95) delivered 10. Heo Hoon (181-G-95) ended up with 14 points in the losing effort and Lee Minyoung (180-PG-95) scored 12.

South Korea accumulated a 37:31 halftime lead. The hosts maintained the lead throughout the third term. They arrived at the final intermission up by 11 points 56:45.
