Korean Basketball Association (KBA) announced final 12 players of Korean men's senior national team today.
The roster is filled with 10 professional players including Oh Se-Keun, KBL Final MVP this year, and 2 amateur athletes.
Lee Jong-hyun, the only high school player, is the youngest player in this team. Collegiate player Kim Jong-kyu (207cm/Kyunghee University) is the tallest guy in this team.
Kim Sun-hyung and Kim Dong-wook made their first final roster in Korean NT while former Captain Kim Joo-sung is retiring from the team. He is suffering from bad knee injury now. Yang Dong-geun, No.1 PG in Korea, became the new captain.
Team Korea will have Olympic qualifying matches against Russia and Dominica Republic upcoming this July in Caracas, Venezuela.

South Korea wins East Asian Championship in Incheon. The hosts posted all the victories in the tournament and managed to beat China in the Final game, 79:68.

Guo Ailun (192-SF-93) answered with 17 points in the losing effort and Li Muhao (218-C-92) had 12. Sun TongLin (208-F/C-92) and Wang Zhelin (215-PF-94) followed them with 11 points each in defeat.

Kim Jong-Kyu (207-C-91) netted 20 points to lead the effort. It was a lopsided affair right from the start. South Korea did not waste time powering to a 32:9 lead at the first break. South Korea stayed in front throughout the second quarter. They boosted the lead to as many as 32 points at halftime 56:24. South Korea and Hong Kong slowed down a bit in the third term. The teams traded baskets as the Korean side remained in a comfortable lead. The hosts poured in 27 points in the fourth period and sealed the winning outcome at the end. Park Jae-Hyun (187-G-91) produced 15 points, while Kim Min-Goo added 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Liang Man Hung (173-G-86) responded with 15 points for Hong Kong. Reid Duncan had 13 points and 8 boards in the loss.
